Founded as a NYS Corporation in March of 1993 to exclusively serve the specialty Heating and Air Conditioning requirements of the Rail Mass Transit Industry for Fixed Plant and Rolling Stock, RTR has evolved to become the preeminent supplier of Custom-Designed Systems in today's Marketplace.
RTR is a 100% Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and is registered as such with Transit Authorities in the US. Additionally, the Company has achieved ISO 9001/2008 Certification and is presently in qualification to meet the requirements of the new and more rigorous International IRS Standard. Both are Quality Systems that are mandated to be in place in order to work for the various Transit Authorities and Car Builders.

Our engineered solutions mitigate or obviate severe weather-related damages to Fixed Plant and Rolling Stock to ensure safe, comfortable and continuous Winter operations for the Ridership.
